Synexis Logotype
In addition to the air purification devices Cube and Sphere, defortec created a corporate design including logo and design guideline for all web and print media for the US company synexis LLC.

Histamine Quick Test
First process design, then product design: How defortec, as a partner in a research project, co-developed the feasibility study for a compact rapid histamine test, designed it and optimized it using 3D printing.

Printing instead of casting
Technology | Additive manufacturing is being used in more and more industrial processes. In the future, massive steel parts such as ship gearboxes are to be produced using 3D printing - the advantages are obvious.

Rotor Blade Recycling
At some point, even wind turbines reach their limit of use and have to be replaced. While clear disposal or recycling methods exist for most components, the rotor blades are still an unsolved problem. At the moment, the few old propellers are simply burned in the cement industry's furnaces.

The future of assembly line production is called flexibilisation - this also applies to vehicle painting lines. Where conveyor belts used to bring the car bodies to the painting robots in a strict sequence, in future the sequence will remain variable. This requires new conveyor systems that can separate the flow of the car bodies. For this future production model within the framework of Industry 4.0, the paint shop market leader Dürr Systems AG has developed "EcoProFleet", an autonomous industrial truck that can transport individual components up to entire car bodies flexibly to the paint shop.
