Showroom design model

Domino L in the scale of 1:10

For the Swiss company Oerlikon Surface Solutions AG, we added a further 1:10 scale exhibit to the measurement model portfolio. The completely in-house manufactured model of the Domino L system serves as a presentation piece for trade fairs and exhibitions. The complex functions of the plant are simplified and easily reproduced, giving the viewer a perfect impression of the process as well as the design of the machine itself.

As with the 1:5 models, the focus was on a detailed elaboration of the core functions. When the door is opened, an automatic mode is activated, which turns on the spindle rotation and simulates the coating process by means of a light sequence. The individual process steps can also be individually controlled with the keys located on the upper side.
